SNAKEHEAD HUNTERS
When I looked photos sent by my guides, I understood that the Giant Snakehead season was already started…
When you go fishing, predicting results it is always hard, the season is the most favourable but Giant Snakehead fishing have not guarantee, especially when you are fighting your prey!
The spot is always beautiful and this season is more than ever green and fragrant…
For sure be thrown in the middle of a tropical storm an hour by boat from the camp does not leave you indifferent…
But thanks to the long boat we pass the storm without any problems…. just wet!
Fishes are very active and collaborative: I and my guide, Pi Wan, on the piece enjoying each single catch, my desire to fish overflowing and every day I bring home this big man exhausted … unfortunately my tackles is “a little undersized” and the most beautiful fishes unhooked one after another…
In the end, when all seemed lost, in an area where we knew that a large specimen came often in hunting, a flooded lawn during the rainy season, without the deadly trees that usually cover each square meter of the Dam….

Excited about this fishing week and the time spent with the team, Pi Wan, Nuy, Luca and Davide, once back in Bangkok, in the evening I find myself planning together with guides our next trip, dreaming to break the IGFA record next time!
